Italy, Europe

The Amalfi Coast Italy has been chosen by National Geographic as “One of the fifty places you should visit in your lifetime” and they go on to describe it as “ Italy’s most scenic stretch of coastline”.

Walking Connection Co-Founders Gene and Jo Ann Taylor will lead you through its picturesque network of pathways, once lifeline between terraced land and rural villages, magnificent views above lemon gardens and vineyards set a midst terraced cliffs over the crystal blue sea. Immerse in a bright landscape and a fascinating heritage as we walk through Amalfi and its neighbors: Positano, Atrani and Ravello, a mixture of memorable sights and unique environments.

Walk The Amalfi Coast

Come Walk With Gene and Jo Ann Taylor

A combination of interesting historic sites, charming destinations, celebrated flavors of Italian cooking and fascinating rural traditions characterizes our walking experience in Italy.

As the pace of life continues to accelerate and when time is seeming to fly by, taking a step back to an old country can be the perfect anecdote to resetting your life’s clock. Tramonti is a quiet rural village nestled in a hilly landscape overlooking the Mediterranean sea and famous for its wine producers and the fabulous food. It is the perfect place to stop, take deep breaths and let the pine-scented salt air of the Mediterranean Sea wash over your soul.

Dramatically beautiful, wild, daring and romantic, the Amalfi Coast defines the perfect Italian adventure vacation. Its amphitheaters of rocks, water and flowers blend their bright colors perfectly with the pastel color of the houses that drape the steep hillsides from their peaks to the sea below. The peninsula has some of the world’s most bewitching coastal beauty and is an oasis of tranquility set among unique seascapes. There is the perfect combination of planned guided walks with plenty of time for you to explore on your own or with a new found friend.

In addition to its natural diversity, the wealth of art and architecture, perfect weather, each day offers a new chance to “walk up a good appetite,” and then satisfy it by sampling some of the finest southern Italian cuisine while taking in the backdrop of steep cliffs, lush green terraces and fragrant gardens suspended over the sparkling sea. The Amalfi Coast is beautiful beyond imagination.

We carry on to Amalfi the perfect hub to reach the “must sees” of the area. And we’ll end our journey enjoying a scenic location along the coast in the seaside village of Praiano.
