ItechLaw®
Conference Extension
South Rim – Grand Canyon National Park
Scottsdale
> Sedona > Flagstaff > Grand Canyon > Scottsdale
The
Walking Connection is proud to be selected to provide you
with an optional 1-night/2day Arizona Adventure To The Grand
Canyon.
Each
year millions of people from around the world travel to Arizona
to see the crown jewel of the American landscape - The Grand
Canyon. Though
seeing is believing, you can do much more than look! You can
experience it with an expert guide on a personal level, up close,
one step at time! We've made all of the arrangements so all
you have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy two days of magnificent
views, attentive service and Arizona hospitality.
Your
adventure begins immediately after the ITechLaw Conference.
You'll be greeted in the lobby of your hotel and boarded on
our private air conditioned luxury motorcoach. Ride in comfort
through Arizona's
Sonoran Desert to the world famous red
rocks of Sedona. Stunning views, world-class art galleries
and shops and southwest cuisine await you.
The
Arizona landscape changes from the desert stands of majestic
saguaro
cacti to the high plateau, Ponderosa pine and aspen forests
of northern Arizona. The dry heat of the desert gives way to
the cool mountain air as we reach our destination at the South
Rim of Grand Canyon National Park.
At
first glance, it almost doesn't look real. Too much
for the human eye to take in. Too much for your minds eye to
process. You'll have free time to digest the awesome view or
take a short hosted walk along the rim. You'll have free time
to peruse the bookstore, see a short movie in the brand new
theatre and browse through the Visitor's
Center.
Dinner
this evening will be at your pre-reserved time in the most historic
and best restaurant at Grand Canyon, El
Tovar Lodge. Perched on the rim
of the canyon, the views are spectacular and the cuisine is
excellent.
We'll overnight in the recently renovated Yavapai
Lodge East located in the heart of Grand Canyon Village
inside the park.
After
a good nights rest and full morning breakfast, we'll beat the
heat of the day with an optional early morning guided walk or
hike. Your
professional Walking Connection Grand Canyon Guides will help
you choose which is best suited to your interests and abilities.
You can choose to hike along the rim or challenge yourself with
a more rigorous hike into the Grand Canyon.
Each
is taken at a leisurely pace and is designed to provide with
you an interpretive experience along the way. You'll
learn about the history surrounding the Canyon, the geology
of its make up and the culture of the people who have lived
here over the millennia.
Since
fewer than 1% of the people who ever visit Grand Canyon ever
set foot inside of it, you have the option to experience it
in a unique way that is both spectacular and very rare.
Of
course, the morning is yours to do as you please, so if you
if you prefer to just relax and wander on your own, we'll provide
you with a map and visitors guide to help you enjoy your day.
We'll
spend the entire morning in the park before we leave together
to return to the Valley Of The Sun!
