DAY ONE- WELCOME TO IRELAND
Your group meets in Shannon Airport today. From there, we will set off on a southward journey towards The Kingdom of Kerry. Your home here for the next couple of nights is a family-owned historic hotel overlooking Kenmare Bay. We will enjoy a short hike locally followed by dinner where you and our guides can get to know each other. L,D
DAY TWO- THE KERRY COAST
Heading into the rugged headlands of coastal Kerry our destination is a coastal trail that offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and rugged cliffs. Enjoy picturesque beaches, spot seabirds nesting in the cliffs, and experience the stunning beauty of the surrounding landscape as well as views across to the famous Skellig Islands. B,L,D
DAY THREE- KILLARNEY NATIONAL PARK
Today’s hike takes in a beautiful section of The Kerry Way, Ireland’s best known long distance walking trail. The section we enjoy finishes in the beautiful Killarney National Park, we will hike from heather-clad mountain tops through lush green valleys and past flowing waterfalls. From Killarney it’s a drive to our
next destination, in the rural village of Doolin. Settling in for the next couple of days, you have the opportunity to explore the village for dinner on your own this evening. B,L
DAY FOUR- THE BURREN & THE CLIFFS OF MOHER
As we set foot on the trails of The Burren, we'll find ourselves immersed in a captivating landscape of limestone pavements, rocky outcrops, and vast open spaces. The park's unique geological formations create a rugged yet awe-inspiring terrain to explore. Later, we will visit the home of a traditional Irish musician to hear some local tunes before an evening visit to The Cliffs of Moher. B,L,D
DAY FIVE- GALWAY CITY
As we head north along the Wild Atlantic Way, we make a stop in Galway City, where we will enjoy a fascinating walking tour led by a knowledgeable historian. Delve into the city's rich history as we stroll through its charming streets, admiring the blend of ancient landmarks and medieval architecture. Enjoy lunch at one of the city's cozy cafes or traditional pubs, in a city known for its culinary prowess. B,L,D
DAY SIX- INISHBOFIN ISLAND
We head out for an unforgettable day of hiking on Inishbofin, a picturesque island off the coast of County Galway. As you explore the island's trails, we will be immersed in its rich history, dating back centuries. Each step from ancient ruins to old stone walls reveals a glimpse into the island's intriguing
past. Before reaching the island, enjoy a scenic ferry journey, where we will be treated to breathtaking views of the rugged coastline and the possibility of spotting marine wildlife along the way. B,L
DAY SEVEN- CONNEMARA
Today we hike in Connemara National Park, nestled in the stunning Connemara region of Ireland. As we hike, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes, including expansive boglands, lakes, and the rugged coastline. We take our time, absorbing the natural beauty and immerse ourselves in the tranquility of the surroundings. Enjoy magnificent vistas that stretch as far as the eye can see. Then off to visit a local sheep farmer to watch them herd their sheep using their clever dogs. B,L,D
DAY EIGHT- SLAN ABHAILE
We will leave Connemara this morning and return to Shannon Airport. (PLUS Optional Extension to Dublin!)

Accommodations
Four and Five Star accommodations await you. Though the star system of rating hotels is always subjective, our accommodations' warmth and welcoming hospitality make them simply the best of the best. Double occupancy (two beds) is standard, but Kings are available, and single travelers are always welcome. All come with world-class amenities.
Food & Beverage
When you think of Irish cuisine, think traditional with a modern flair. The Kerry Way was also known as the Butter Highway. Breakfast is hearty, lunch could be a picnic or a cafe in a small village, and dinners are chef-prepared masterpieces. Always sumptuous, the only way to go hungry here is to try.
Hosted and Guided Adventure
Professionally, safety-accredited guides bring the Irish countryside and culture to life. They are full-time residents with a passion for sharing their lives and the places where they live. Two professional driver guides will allow us to see and explore Ireland with options to fit the group's interests and abilities.
Equipment and Special Gear
Preparing for your adventure is the key to a successful holiday. Ireland is green for a reason. It rains a lot. Your rain pants and jackets will come in handy. Layers are key to staying warm and dry. Bring sunscreen too! There is usually plenty of that, too. Warm days can be followed by warm evenings sitting by a cozy fireplace. Sturdy boots, preferably waterproof, are a must.
